The politicians believe that if they could stamp out the informal sector, cracked down on cash-only business, shut down the fly-by-night tree cutters and photocopiers, we would all be better off.

Someone once said that the people should not fear their government, the government should fear the people.
This story is a correlary to that idea. We need more cash transactions, and the government should keep their nose out of it.
