Do the Rich Pay Taxes? Italy Tells All

Money – Many Italians' attitude toward taxes runs something like this: Why should I pay if no one else does? Evasion is so common that landlords often demand two leases: one private with the actual amount expected, the other far lower and submitted to the authorities. Both, bafflingly, are vetted by lawyers.

The government itself can tell if people are paying their taxes or not. If they are not, well, tax law is not properly regulated. Or maybe, ordinary people are not minding their taxes, because government people itself are not paying too! Which one? Well, its everybody's obligation to pay taxes. Rich countries perhaps have good tax laws. Because that laws will surely reflect on the development of a country.
