Senator John McCain's speech on taxes last week was widely seen as a stay-the-Bush-course pledge. Not true. Mr. McCain would dig a much deeper hole than even President Bush, exactly what the country does not need. Mr. Bush is already bequeathing his successor a government deep in debt, ill prepared to meet foreseeable challenges--health care, road

I used to have a quote here from Andre Breton, author of several surrealist works.

I now think that if you're here on Propeller ...

Le Muffette Jr. would be like letting a fox lead the chickens. Worse than the original ever thought of being. The stupidity of those who would support this idiot is beyond belief.

"Those two proposals alone would reduce tax revenue by $1 trillion over four years.

"His speech did not stop there. He proposed doubling the dependent exemption, to $7,000 per child, cutting revenue by $171 billion more over four years."

What the idiot NY Times writer clearly fails to grasp is that's about $1.2 trillion going into the economy. Stupidity is liberals thinking increasing taxes helps the economy.

Here's a lil bit of info for liberals: Reducing taxes means people KEEP MORE of what they earn instead of letting the gov't ****** it away. Liberals whine about the housing market, personal debt, the cost of gas, teens having less money to spend of crap. Guess what? Taking money from people DOESN'T improve the situation. Cutting taxes DOES help.

Cutting taxes is more important than balancing the budget?

I think Alzheimers has hit a little sooner than people expected!

You miss the point. Cutting taxes would help balance the budget. Cutting spending is also necessary. That is why either of the two socialists running for President would make matters far worse, not better. They both speak of more government run programs, which mean much more spending.

Of the three remaining candidates, McCain knows the least about Iraq, the WOT, and the military (ex, his questions to Petraeus).

And that is supposed to be his strength.

Knowing that, I don`t even have to read his economic policy to know it is the wrong direction for America.

He is a douchebag for sure, but the other two socialist surrender monkeys certainly aren't a good direction for America!

Instead of digging in, wouldn`t it be neat if McCain actually tried to solve something?
