Well, once again, can't expect consumers to spend money they are no longer able to earn! Business has focused on the bottom line and has ignore the reality.
This is like monopoly, if there is only one winner, no one else will be able to play, unless the winner is willing to share with the other players.
The Great Depression 1920-1930's actually began in the 1890's, as gradually the inequities between the haves and the have nots, finally hit bottom!
Thanks myathesmith, this is only the beginning of the belt tightening.

The credit crunch is affecting more than home buyers. Financial institutions won't be handing out credit like it's candy any longer.

Nice cars.
With the money situation the way it is there won't be as many flying off the show room floors.
One of my son in laws is a car salesman, he was telling us at Christmas that sales have been slow for the past six months.
These bean counting bottom liner's don't seem to care that they play with peoples lives. In order to maintain and increase their wealth. One day it will come back to them.
I pray that they learn before that day.

The money grubbing capitalists that are trying to suck the blood out of everybody. That tale gets so disgusting after a while. There have been cycles of economy as long as anybody can remember. Why does it have to be certain peoples fault.
