Dollar's Fall Is Felt Around The Globe »
Posted by: TechnologyExpert 8 months, 1 week agoThe sharp decline of the U.S. dollar since 2000 is affecting a broad swath of the world's population, with its drop on global markets being blamed at least in part for misfortunes as diverse as labor strikes in the Middle East, lost jobs in Europe and the end of an era of globe-trotting rich Americans.

Lot's of excuses to cover the real problem(s). Deficit and deficit. Foreign spending.
This is actually great or the US. But not so good for people who buy gas.

America is in debt with this Republican administration fostering what has become lunacy in Government.
Anyone with a brain and knowing the past would have seen the Housing bubble bursting. These idiots dwell on the sub prime mortgage market but its the prime market that WILL fall. Housing prices will continue to fall and many present homeowners are saddled with lines of credit on their housing based on past evaluations. Now all sectors of our economy including petroleum, food, housing and other cost are sky rocketing while wages are stagnant to pay for the upper crust in America to obtain greater wealth.
Plastic is overextended and our economy is outsourced.
A depression is imminent yet the tooth fairy government says all is well.

The Euro is not linked to housing prices so I do wish this erroneous linking would be stopped. I do not pay my mortgage in Euros. The amount of debt that Communist China holds against the U.S. government is, I think, a valid link as is the undervalued Chinese currency. Our dollar is backed with an invalid promise ... it is time it is backed by gold, silver, or other precious metal.

Well JQ ... enlighten us, won't you, since none of us have a comprehensive grasp of global economics. Define, if you would be so kind, legit U.S. currency in opposition to illegitimate currency. I am merely suggesting baselining our worthless currency to something more 'legit' than a government promise. This cannot be impossible. What does Ron Paul have to do with it? Maybe I missed one of his papers suggesting such an outlandish idea (of linking U.S. currency with precious metals). Also, please explain "... doesn't even come close to accounting for all the state sponsored counterfeits in circulation!" Finally does "you clowns" refer to the persons contributing to this short thread?? As an identified clown I am merely searching for answers and not debasing fellow common-taters.

Read and learn JQP. Your arrogance is in total agreement with your inability to communicate.
