Why in a country that so rabidly claims to be "Christian" are the poor not "blessed."

To those who have much, much is expected! Not so for most of America's rich.

Remember those Contract to America lies too! The Party of the Rich, the repug party! 10 million kids vetoed out of health care by the claim of sociolism, what deceiving heartless hogshit! Only developed nation in the world witout some effort at universal healthcare! Not unusual for a party that feels some Americans are more equal than other Americans, and all Americans are more human than the rest of the world! Peace on earth, goodwill to all - just another Repug facade!

"This is an impressive crowd the haves and the have-mores. Some people call you the elite. I call you my base." Presidential candidate George W. Bush, at the annual Al Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner, Oct. 19, 2000

        Mission accomplished!!!

Look at the disparity in worker pay. A CEO now makes in a day what the "line worker" makes in a year. In the early sixties the figure was ten fold lower.

As Karl Marx warned of the capitalist system, "The rich get richer..."

lets define poor, does 2 cars, an x box, plasma tv's and dvd players make you poor. This country has no real concept of poor. You want to be a pauper elect Hillary, tax rates for EVERYONE are the lowest they have been in yrs, and if you think the working poor and middle class are going to be exempt from higher taxes think again. The only one around Hillary who doesn't pay taxes is Bill.

...if Hillary can be judged by her Husband's performance, minus an illict affair between consenting adults by which Hillary still hung by her man, then the US as a whole, at all levels would prosper.

Bill did leave office with a 65% approval rating inspite of every effort by Repugs to ruin him. Unlike Dumya: a needless war with thousands of Americans maimed for life, endless war, debt over 10 trillion when he leaves office, inflation almost rampant, average family income dropped, millions more in poverty, millions more uninsured medically, millions more having lost their pension, government revenue in 2005 equal to what we collected in 1959, world loss of any prestige we had, environmental efforts trashed, justice trashed, Geneva trashed, the Constitution trashed, good Americans trashed for opposing Dumya .....

Need Fair Tax so as to have control over our own moey. Fair Tax would be the greatest return of power, back to the people since the revolution

The proposal to which Gov. Huckabee referred (fair tax) is not a 23 percent tax, but rather a 30 percent tax. And it is revenue-neutral only through an accounting trick. It will collect more money from those earning between $15,000 and $200,000 per year and less from those earning more than $200,000 per year.

And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this, this is working very well for them.
