I don't think it is that easy! There are a lot of different credit card offers out there and it is important that you find the best one for YOU.
There is no standard offer that is good for everyone.
First you have to think about how you will use your credit card (will you pay the balance each month or not), then you have to think about which rewards are attractive for you. Afterwards you should assess all the credit card offers carefully and compare, compare, compare! (sometimes even the internet can help you with that, credit card applications.us is one that I can recommend.
I think the problem is that most people don't get enough information about credit cards and use it irresbonsibly!
