Posted by: TechnologyExpert 1 year, 5 months agoGasoline prices have gone up an average of 20 cents per gallon nationwide in the past two weeks. The retail price of self-serve regular gas rose to $2.55 cents per gallon, according to the latest Lundberg Survey released Sunday.

I'd be happy with a 20 cent rise in TWO weeks. The article says $3.10 is average in SF, but I see plenty of stations in the $3.20 range outside SF.
In the area I live in, it's gone up 18 cents last week and 19 the previous week.
