Tuesday, Coach, Inc. said its second quarter earnings topped estimates, thanks to full priced holiday sales of handbags and women's accessories. Net income for the quarter was $227.47 million or 61 cents per share, up from year-ago $174.17 million or 45 cents a share. Net sales jumped 29% to $836 million from $650 million reported last year.
